Tallinn, Estonia, 30 October 2026. Following a hands-on demonstration, EKT Teed OÜ, one of Estonia’s established road, street and green-area maintenance companies, has taken delivery of its first Foresteel FT-1600 leaf vacuum trailer. The machine was handed over at EKT Teed’s facility in Tallinn.
About EKT Teed
EKT Teed OÜ is a Tallinn-based maintenance company working on roads, streets, parks and green areas across Estonia. With around 200 employees and a fleet of about 250 machines, the company maintains roughly 2,000 km of roads and looks after green areas from planting through to autumn maintenance.
At that scale, seasonal leaf collection is a recurring task across many sites. Equipment has to be quick to deploy, reliable in changing weather, and simple for any crew member to operate.

What the FT-1600 leaf vacuum trailer does
The FT-1600 combines a professional vacuum and shredding unit with a compact hydraulic tipping trailer. It is built for compact tractors, compact loaders and municipal utility vehicles.
- Collects leaves, grass clippings and light debris with a handheld suction nozzle, or directly from a mowing deck
- Shreds material up to 10 times smaller before it enters the 2.5 m³ trailer body (2000 × 1250 × 1000 mm)
- Empties with hydraulic rear tipping at a 50° angle
- Runs on a G2 debris loader with a commercial Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine, independent of the towing vehicle
- Wide turf tires protect grass areas; versions with EU type approval (COC) are road-legal at 40 km/h
- 2-in-1 design: remove the vacuum unit and leaf extensions, and it becomes a standard tipping trailer for transport work outside leaf season
