Returns and Refunds
FORESTEEL accepts return requests for complaints, as well as for non-defective goods. It is possible to request a return within 14 days under these conditions: possession of receipt or invoice; products complete with packaging and in perfect unused condition.
RETURN FOR ONLINE PURCHASE
Right to withdrawal of Consumer Users from the purchase of Material Products
The Consumer User who, for any reason, is not satisfied with the Product has the right to withdraw from the contract without penalty and without specifying the reason, within the term of 14 days from the date of delivery of the Product, by sending a written communication to the e-mail address email@example.com with written declaration indicating the order number.
The return of the product must be operated by courier to the FORESTEEL warehouses. Shipping fees are to be paid by the consumer.
Exclusion of the right to withdrawal of Business Customer(Non-Consumer Users)
The Business Customer (The Non-Consumer User) is not entitled to withdraw from the contract of sale or delivery of the Products. The User expressly acknowledges that the indication in the order of a VAT identification number qualifies him as a Business Customer (Non-Consumer User).
RETURN OF A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
If an product is defective, FORESTEEL will provide the required assistance, providing for the possible replacement or repair of the same. The return of the defective product can be made within 2 years by private customers and within 1 year by professionals with eligible VAT number, upon contacting (firstname.lastname@example.org). FORESTEEL will cover the shipping costs.
Legal Warranty for Consumers
Pursuant to the Directive 2011/83/EU (“Consumer Rights”), all Products for sale on the Website are covered by the legal warranty, in the event of a lack of conformity.
The lack of conformity of the Products that occurs within 24 months of delivery, must be reported by the Consumer within 2 months of its acknowledgment.
In case of lack of conformity, the Consumer may ask FORESTEEL, alternatively and without charges:
– the repair or replacement of the purchased Product
– a reduction of the price for purchase
– the termination of the Sales Agreement.
The solutions requested by the Consumer, once the defect of the product has been ascertained, may be offered, unless the request is objectively impossible or excessively burdensome; pursuant to the directive.
To exercise the legal warranty, the Consumer can send the report by e-mail (email@example.com).
Legal Warranty for Professionals
It shall be noted that, in regard to the Warranty for Product Defects, the Professional user (company) is granted the legal warranty of 12 months.
In particular, the Professional can enforce the warranty, provided that he reports the defect of the Product within eight days of its acknowledgment, and before the expiration of the year from the delivery of the same.
To exercise the Legal warranty, the Professional will have the possibility to send the report via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
In case of a return of non-defective goods, if the customer chooses to be refunded, only the amount relating to the price of the goods will be re-credited. Any costs for packaging, shipping and ancillary services are therefore excluded from reimbursement. For online purchases, the refund will be made in the same payment method chosen during the purchase.
